JTB Construction is a locally owned excavation, site work, and dump trucking company serving the Tri-Cities region of Northeast Tennessee, including Kingsport, Johnson City, and Bristol.

We specialize in commercial excavation — stormwater, water, sewer, and septic systems, grading, and sink hole repair — on projects ranging from airport hangars and grocery stores to subdivisions, campgrounds, and large residential sites.

Our trucking division offers dump trucking and heavy haul services with a fleet of 25 dump trucks.

Family-owned and operated since 2014, we pride ourselves on quality workmanship, clear communication, and using the latest technology in our equipment.

Meet Tyler

Born and raised in the heart of the Tri-Cities, Tyler's roots in construction run deep. With the Begley family being in the Real Estate and Construction business for over 50 years, Tyler absorbed invaluable knowledge, sparking a passion that would define his future.

Tyler’s grandfather Gerald W. Begley Sr. started a successful career in real estate in 1955, developing in the local Kingsport area. Tyler’s father, Jeff Begley, has been in the construction business for over 20 years and Tyler followed in his father’s footsteps shortly after. With the knowledge his father has shared with him over the years, Tyler obtained his contractor license in 2014 and paved the way for JTB Construction LLC. His decision to embark on this entrepreneurial journey was not merely about building structures, but about carrying forward a family legacy of building homes.
